Staying at the farm...

Picture
Our family run farm in Prestwood, Staffordshire is nestled on the side of a hill in the the idylic countryside of the Churnet valley.

Surrounded by rolling fields, woodland, lakes and with stunning views over the Weaver hills and the tranquil valley below, this is truly a piece of paradise.

With a small campsite , bed and breakfast and a self catering cottage at the farm, there is accommodation to suit everyone...

.....or take yourselves off for a walk along one of the many footpaths that surround us and explore the hidden beauty of this hill
While with us why not cycle the Churnet Valley trail and visit the picturesque Dimmingsdale with its diverse wildlife, and magnificent scenery

For those of you wanting to day a trip out  (although there really is no need!!), you make like to visit the Peak District, only 7 miles, the historic towns of the Potteries, Sudbury Hall and the museum of Childhood, or even Alton Towers. There is something for everyone....
i'd just stay here though, and enjoy the peace, maybe have a cup of tea and a slice of cake in the terraced gardens, tea room, or summer house! :-)

The Campsite

Picture
a small secluded campsite for up to 5 tents, on the edge of a newly planted woodland and wildflower meadow... click here for more info...

Farm House Bed and Breakfast

Picture
Run by my dad Chris and his wife Margaret, this award winning bed and breakfast, set in a period furnished Jacobean farmhouse, is out of this world...four poster beds, open fires, homecooked full english breakfast. Luxury on the hill.

Self Catering Cottage

Picture
Our lovingly renovated self catering cottage used to be the farmhouse woodshed. I can still remember my Grandpa sitting in the corner, lost in quiet meditation, chopping the sticks for the fires :-). Just like the farm house it has been expertly furnished with period antiques, a step back in time....
