The Ramblers Retreat
The route home from Oakmoor takes you through Dimmingsdale.
Dimmingsdale is a true hidden gem with stunnning scenary including lakes, streams, mixed woodland, rocky outcrops and abundant wildlife. Keep a look out for herons, kingfishers, and both spotted and green woodpeckers.

While at Dimmingsdale visit the Ramblers Retreat www.ramblersretreat.co.uk
I love this place :-) You can sit in the gardens and have anything from an ice-cream, drink, snack to full course dinner, well worth a  visit.

Picnics

We offer a range of picnics and hampers that can be booked in advance
with many beautiful picnic spots on route.
