Chris with Adam Henson and the Irish Moiled cow Adam bought from the farm
Chris has lived and worked on the farm all his life, taking over from his father when he was in his twenties.

He has always instilled in us a love of the land, and a feeling of gratitude for where we are.

His main loves are animals, in particular his cows and native rare breeds, antiques, music, and gardening the beautiful terraced gardens at Manor House Farm.

He works extensively with both the Irish Moiled Society and the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, his passion helping to ensure
that our native breeds do not become extinct.

Chris also runs the farm Bed and Breakfast with his wife Margaret and cooks perhaps the best full english breakfast in the world! :-)
